Quite simply the education programme created by TBSL is there to help schools through what can be a very stressful time when reviewing office product, such as; mono and colour photocopiers, printers, shredders and now coming very much to the forefront scanning – be it standard scanning or to education specific applications such as Sims or very shortly Serco.
This programme is tailored to provide the school a consultative approach to ensure the correct product is selected to maximise productivity and functionality while ensuring costs for budgeting are minimised wherever possible. In many cases through the audit information gained, TBSL are able to review equipment and either reduce cost or gain greater value with new product against monies already budgeted and allocated ‘effectively making better use of monies already invested’, this can be regardless of whether a school is currently midway through contract and feel their current incumbent support provider or equipment is failing.
After over 26 years of working within the education sector Miles Leggott – Director of TBSL says ‘it is a misconception by many schools that they are tied to restrictive financial agreements and have to suffer poor service response and / or unreliable equipment and cannot release themselves. This is generally through poor advice from the outset which creates an air of fear and uncertainty. In my experience many schools suffer from the lack of clarity and clear communication and in general ‘good advice’. While all legal agreements hold some penalty for cancellation, the true cost of this can be often highly inflated to ensure schools do not move from their current providers. While this journey can be stressful at times, Miles Leggott has many examples of helping schools release themselves from what at first seemed hard and fast restrictive costs and have reduced cancellation cost exposure significantly in many cases.
